The Indians made a surprising move after the loss to the White Sox yesterday by designating Jhonny Peralta for assignment and calling up 26 year old pitcher Frank Herrman. Peralta is most likely going to be picked off of waivers but if not he could be released by the Indians. The organization feels as though he has not recovered from his shoulder tear as well as hoped and with Andy Marte swinging the hot bat he will take over at third for the rest of the year. Look for Lonnie Chisenhall to get a chance to win the thirdbase job next year in spring training.
